The good thing about the incredibly low temperature in this flat, is that I can keep white wine and beers in my room and they will always be chilled.

The bad thing is that I might get pneumonia and die.
I am cursing myself for not starting the summer project earlier and for not being more efficient when actually working... And on top of all of my troubles the flat is FREEZING.
I am contemplating setting something on fire, just to get some heat. I may burn the summer project brief. Although the fumes from an object loaded with such negativity would probably be toxic.

I am not only procrastinating.
I am PROcrastinating.
If procrastination was a profession, I'd be a billionaire, the top of my league.
I would be procrastinating my way to fame and wealth.
That would be nice.

I think David may have forgotten to mention how cold the flat is and I think I forgot exactly how great Brits are at insulating their buildings. They aren't. And the flat is freezing. In fact I think my brain cells just froze. The flat in general however is really great and the location is FANTASTIC! I will think of that next time I get stuck on the toilet cos my bum froze to the toilet seat.

All is good in the Aberdonian hood.

Ryan air just launched their special travel department for spiritual Gurus.
How awesome!
I get to sit in the exclusive area reserved for wise and intellectual Gurus. The seats will be covered in flowers, there will be ancient mysterious books, furs, and claws and teeth from exotic animals, liquids with special powers and a spiritual fire in the middle of the cabin!

I love Ryan air and their strive to provide their passengers with individual creative luxuries.
Bring on the trip!

Ps I will be travelling with my spiritual wand with magic powers. Passed on to me through 74 generations.

Emily came and left, the 48 hours passed waaay too quickly and I am suddenly one step closer to the end of the summer.
Tomorrow I will be back in Aberdeen.
Since I will be temporarily homeless, I have bribed my way to a bed (by promising joy, happiness and various gifts, possibly also a cure for cancer, depending on my mood). May my darling hosts not change their minds and may they not expect beluga caviare, saffron and silk...

I will hopefully move in to the new flat on Sunday.
Exciting!
It's a bit like Russian roulette actually.
I haven't even seen the room, I just know that it is minimal.

I'll be living with two guys. Will they pee on the toilet seat? will they leave their shaved off stubble in the sink? Will they burp louder than me? Or will they totally surprise me by loving embroidery and sharing cat grooming tips? who knows.
I can't WAIT to find out!
'

ps. kind of hoping they will share my disliking of cats.

Hej, hello, bonjour, aloha, namaste.

Emily is coming tonight.
All the way from Britain, with only 48 hours to spend in the amazing land of Schweden.
Of course I have to make her realise exactly how great this country is, so I have made a brilliant little itinerary. It involves a journey, at least one Swedish cinnamon swirl (nothing like the ones you know), a couple of SPA treatments and various other delights. When she leaves she will know for a fact that Sweden is the best country in Scandinavia, and once we are back in Aberdeen she will understand and support me when I get homesick and moan about Scotland, for she will too miss Sweden and its splendid grandeur.

I miss Sweden already.
Could someone handcuff me to Swedish soil and prevent me from leaving its amazingness?
unless of course I would go to New York, Brazil, Australia, New Zeeland, Japan, or any other destination that involves the smallest ounce of excitement.

*JOKING!!!*

I AM TOTALLY PSYCHED ABOUT GOING BACK TO EXCITING SCOTLAND!!!!!

Today is a really special day.
Here in Sweden it is as usually celebrated with an orchestra, a feast of pastries, champagne from 1787, fireworks and exotic entertainment. This day is a pretty much like a national holiday, more appreciated and valued than midsummer, new years, Christmas and Easter together.
No one is working. Everyone is in a deep state of complete happiness and satisfaction.

This very day 23 years ago, came to affect pretty much the rest of my life. And you may not know it yet, but it will affect yours too when Elin takes over the world.
Which, believe me; she will.

Today we enjoy ourselves! We celebrate love, life and creativity, all in the name of Elin.
Okay? So treat yourself, spoil yourself, feel the flow of greatness stream through the universe!
It is one godforsakenly glorious day, you know?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIN!

I miss you, like Schaz. And it makes no sense whatsoever to have you on the other side of the world. But I am of course still feeling your presence through the awesomely amazing atmosphere of your day.

Karsch.

fashion and style

The girls at the school wanted to practice their henna skillz on my arm.
I asked for a henna sleeve.
they didn't get it.
they asked me with anxious and confused expressions on their faces "but why?"
Then they did it anyway. I thought it looked good.

After that they thought it was time to dress me up.
I looked at them with an anxious and confused expression on my face.
They were very concerned about my hair; "but why don't you brush your hair?!"
It took them ages to fix me up
"NOW you look pretty!" they said.

we silently agreed to disagree.

Agra

Matilda and I got stuck in a mosque. It rained like crazy for 2 hours and we got bored.
Entertained ourselves with a funky little photo session. It was fun. Until I accidentally dropped a shoe on the floor and got shouted at, by a lot of very upset people
:'(

Bloggy died a natural death when I went to India.
For a while I thought maybe I should just let her rest in peace, but after a near death experience in Delhi, where I was pretty intensely electrified, I remembered you can bring souls back to life with electric shocks. Maybe Bloggy will live again.
