It's been an AMAZING Christmas so far.
Lots of snow, really cold, you know; PROPER "severe weather conditions".
I pretty much just eat and chill and spend my time in front of various open fires, often with a book at hand. Freddie got a drum set for Christmas, so sometimes my peace is disturbed and replaced with frustration. I have repeated the words "is it really necessary to hit the drums with full force ALL THE TIME?? ", countless times. And the apparent answer is YES. Drums need to break. Ear drums. Mine, that is.
Oh well, what ever, I forgive him.

Tonight I am seeing Sofia and Wille for ultimate Wine and Dine;ing, and tomorrow....
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!
Antonia and I are going to cash in a christmas present. We got A full day cooking lesson (theory and everything), in Indian cooking. Some of our friends will be joining us, and then we'll cook up a storm! or burn down the kitchen. I am not sure yet.
But I am immensely excited!!!!

One has to take into account all of life's little misfortunes when planning for the holiday season...
I was, as previously mentioned, going down to Perth to stay with Jean for a few days,
but THEN I was suddenly struck by a mysterious illness. Stomach pains and an unpleasant face rash. Good times. not. So instead of immense funness I spent 3 days in bed.
To be honest, I think I could do with an other couple of days of recovery but unfortunately that would mean totally missing my favourite time of the year so; in an hour I will be taking the train to Edinburgh, sleep at the airport (since the train connections are way to unreliable in these "severe weather conditions") and then take the remains of my pretty little face rash home to Sweden and have merry Christmas.
Me and my face rash.
Good times.

last Christmas

Monday, 20 December 2010

Okay, I will leave my worries aside for a little while, and focus on the fun stuff!
Leaving for Winter wonder land (Perth) tomorrow. I will be crashing Jean's family's pre Christmas, festive-holiday-get-together. Hopefully Make the most baroque of gingerbread houses, meet up with Emily for festive celebrations in true British style; the pub, (at least that's what I think they do here for Christmas, and all other festive events for that matter...).
Today will be dedicated to the last Christmas shopping, maybe come up with some splendid rhymes and checking BBC weather about 50 times.
As much as I love snow, I really really really hope it won't disrupt my flight on Friday.
Flying home on Christmas eve leaves me pretty much NO margin for delays or other fuck ups (cancellations).
Please please please don't make me have to spend Christmas all alone on the disabled toilet at Edinburgh airport.

Terribly bad updating lately. Sorry!
I will try to do better over Christmas. Maybe...

It seems too late to summarise everything that happened since the last post, and I feel waaaay to lazy for such an action anyway, so I will just upload some random photos.... and try to do better from now on. Maybe

throwing snowballs from the roof

this month seems to have been the month of washing dishes...

And drinking lots of mulled wine

And hanging out on the roof.

Elin has left.
I have a cold.
There is about a million uni related things to be done.
The motivation level is low. So is the mental activity.

I am popping pills, paracetamol mainly.
