As previously mentioned, I don't wish to be known as the pale chick who can't deal with the heat.
My Italian (kind of) heritage should make me the girl who relaxedly carries on like normal even during the most extreme heat.
Unfortunately though, I find this heat a little annoying...
I have left the equatorial outdoor situation and withdrawn to my office, where I am officially working on a secret project.
In reality however, I am of course doing no such thing.
Well I am, but not as frequently as I claim to be.
I am mainly drinking, which brings me to the thing about cocktails;
Why add one strawberry when you can add 30 (or however many you can fit in a glass)? It's like with the Martinis, why the hell do you only ever get ONE olive in your Martini glass?
IT IS LAME!
When I open my own bar, I will chuck a hand full of olives in the Martinis, and I will serve them in massive glasses to make sure that there is plenty of room for alcohol too.
In fact I might serve them in jugs and add olives to every cocktail.
Olives are underestimated.
i love your thinking....this cocktail bar is a must!! I would be there every night :D xxx
ReplyDeleteif this bar was to be opened, you would of course have your own VIP table!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking due to the heat there must be a good few camels just wandering about, i feel you should hijack one of these camels and send it my way with a cocktail placed securely in between it's humps. I realise its not hot here i just really enjoy strawberries and alcohol. I could then send Alice (the camel) back to you with an alternative cocktail for your pleasure, this will continue until Alice's untimely death. Alas her death will not be in vain, as thanks to her dedication to alcohol delivery we shall now have the cocktail menu for your new bar!
ReplyDeleteJean, I think you are on to something here!
ReplyDeletecamel supply might become somewhat troublesome though. how about I send a goat instead?
Goat?!?! I could deal with a goat! It shall be called Deirdre.... I sit in anticipation awaiting Deirdres arrival!
ReplyDeletediredre is a gorgeous name.
ReplyDeletehighly suitable.
I shall go get her dressed and ready for travel, immediately!
YAY iv never been a VIP before :D..plus dyu reckon deirdre could make an extra stop in Portesham for me to :P
