Today was supposed to be the gin night.

However it turned out to be the day where nothing went as planned.

Not saying it was a waste of a day, just that one has to be flexible.

Allow me to get a little side tracked; I was going to make a blueberry pie today but not one single shop on union street in Aberdeen sells frozen berries!

Can you believe it?! It's a scandal!

There are more frozen pizzas and Yorkshire puddings than you can imagine but not one SINGLE frozen berry!

In the last shop I contemplated laying down on the floor, crying in despair until someone rescued me from this berry-deprived city. Of course I never did. Instead I bought expensive apples and cursed them all way home.

I had also planned for a retake of the extremely successful gin-night. Not happening either.

Don't feel to sorry for me though; David and Anna are cooking up a Mexican storm in the kitchen and perhaps I will even go out afterwards.
